Tina is a serial entrepreneur and amazingly passionate about helping others. Honor Built Homes has been developing in her mind for more than a decade. She is a savvy business professional who has owned and operated many successful companies and has more than 20 years of experience in business management, administration, business development, sales and marketing, and operations.  

Darin Holtz, Co-Founder and CCC


As Chief Construction Coordinator, Darin works closely with our clients throughout every aspect of their project. He's a homegrown country boy and a little bit of a redneck, but he knows all about hardwork and has spent his entire career in the construction industry aside from having served in the United States Navy. He's filled the role of general contractor, construction owner, lead foreman, and supervisor. He excels at cost control, quality assurance, and accuracy. 

Shanda Hunter, Business Manager


Shanda has a passion for real estate and has been involved in the construction industry most of her career.  As Business Manager she performs a variety of roles within the company but her real goal is to ensure we meet and or exceed the satisfaction of our clients and that our company remains on target with our goals and growth within our industry.  She oversees all A/P, A/R, draw requests, and financial operations of the company.

Mataya Holtz, Admin. Asst.


Mataya works part-time for Honor Built Homes and works full time for a sign and plastics company. She provides a range of administrative and business support to the company. She assists in developing much of the  creative marketing, videos, and tutorials for the company. She also provides client file management and bookkeeping assistance. 

Dan Peterson, GC Consultant


Dan is a General Contractor and owns his own business Dan Peterson Construction, LLC. He holds an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Construction Tech from Iowa Lakes Community College. Dan has worked in the construction industry for 18 years and is well versed in all aspects of construction. We are proud to have him as a part of our professional team. Dan works with our clients to help them have a solid understanding of codes, construction processes, and more. 

Steve Kennedy, Const. Manager


Steve has been a licensed General Contractor for the past 34 years and has built hundreds of homes in both California and Colorado. Steve's experience is truly astonishing and we could not have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable person to be a part of our team. Steve fills the role of Construction Manager and provides assistance on multiple levels for both the company and our clients. He helps manage projects from start to finish, review work progress and budgets, and help clients stay on track
